-"I felt...I felt physically sick at first and I thought it was just physical from the heat you know?"

-"Yeah."

-"...and then I found myself on the couch and I was...kinda writhing around uncomfortable in my own skin...like my muscles were tense and then all of a sudden I just...I just started bawling like a child....and I didn't understand what was wrong. I still don't understand what happened."

- "...and uh he caught me by the arm and threw me on the ground and twisted my arms behind my back so hard that it felt they were going to break off like from my shoulders and was just beating me um.. and that's the first time I think I really dissociated. He left me on the ground and I woke up. I'm in my bed and my mom and him are sitting there talking."

-"How old were you then?"

-"I must have been four or five or something"

-"Time is slipping away even more and is that..is that normal? Days and time are even more distorted. Hours will pass and I can't feel that they're passing. I don't feel daytime. I don't feel nighttime"
